How I Spent My Summer Vacation:

It seems like everyone stops blogging in the summer, and I say good for us! I say good riddance to blogging when it's gorgeous outside. We've got to use the time while we can. However, I can feel school and fall in the air, starting the beginning of last week. It just happened, just like it always does. For E and me, it has been a rather uneventful summer. We have been working our butts off and that's about it. I think it's been difficult for both of us. This may be the first time we feel like we didn't accomplish what we set out to do. But we worked really hard so I guess that is something. We did do a few things: In it to Win It indoor soccer team (DBA In it to Win In-- a misread registration form leading to a name that doesn't make sense on the schedule and our ID cards). Yes, I played on an organized athletic team. Please don't die of shock. And anyways, I resent your surprise, I played volleyball in 7th and 8th grade AND got the MVP award for the JV tea...

Oh oo Whoa Listen to the Music.

Do you ever just connect with a song? You know, feel like whoa. This song was totally prophetic for my life. I have a song like that. It goes like this: (weiner weiner weiner weiner weiner weiner weiner weiner) I know a weiner manHe owns a weiner standHe sells most everything from hotdogs on down (Hey!) Someday I'll be his bride I'll be right by his side Oh, how I love that weiner man! (mormon mormon mormon mormon mormon mormon mormon mormon) I know a Mormon Boy He is my pride and joy He know most everything from Alma on down (HEY!) Someday I'll be his wife We'll have eternal life Oh, How I love that Mormon Boy!
Summer goes by so quickly. I thought when I finished school I would finally have time to work out, read, play my guitar... and I do. A little. Here and there. But we have hardly had a night to sit down and do nothing. Here are a few reasons why we've been so busy: I've worked with Eric a few times at The Mug now, and it is a blast! It's been really busy the whole month of July, and Eric is there pretty much everyday. Mom and Kelli came out two weekends ago to visit and we spent most of our Saturday up there. We became aware that "tiger's blood" is a mix of something and coconut. Boo. Everybody loves it so I told Kelli to try it and it was a travesty. How do so many people enjoy coconut?! The hotdogs are delicious and the help are sweet as pie. Another part of being busy is our one night a week bowling league. If you have the means, I highly recommend joining one. Ours is a very casual league, thankfully. We are doing really well, I think our team has only lo...
